League or Gully Cricket ?

SO HELLO ALL!


In the buzz of the Fifa world cup, all the attention is directed towards it.
But quite a few records have been made which have oscillated the cricketing world. The most controversial and humiliating of all is from BBL(Big Bash League). The tournament commenced on 13th Dec 2022. Sydney Thunder the team formerly won a BBL title, was toppled by Adelaide Strikers after they set a target of 139 runs in 20 overs. The team was blatant while chasing and was outclassed on 15 runs in 5.5 overs for 10 wickets.

It was a mortified performance by the team, the leading run scorer among them was Brendan Doggett, 4 runs in 2 balls. A juvenile performance by players of immense potential. Do you think league cricket, such as IPL, BBL etc is a source of only churning out big money rather than quality cricket? And players emphasise and focus more on League than their national team games. eg west Indies.

A LOT OF BANTERS WERE PLAYED EARLIER BUT SEEING THE CONSTRATION OF THE TWO THE AUSSIE BANTERS SOON TURNED OUT INTO A LOT OF WORRIES AND WERE NOW HUNTING FOR THE WICKETS.
