Its in the history that the Autralian side has played 55 matches at that ground and has won 33,drawn,13 ,tied 1 and lost 8.The Australian side also stands the record of not lossing any test match at the Gabba since 1988. This record from the Aussie's has been tremendous, Brisbane has always given the Australian team another chance in a test series to retaliate.

On the other side the Indian team has been struggling with injuries all along the tour, the Indian team has lost innumerable numbers of valuable player as they proceed in the test further. SIR Jadeja has undergone surgeries for his dislocated thumb. And even J.Bumrah is not sure of playing the test as he is suffering through Abdominal injury.





Tim Paine Australia's captain said in a interview that,'he distracted himself by sledging and was not determined as the game was proceeding ,which cost him the match.
