 THE WTC FINAL IS ALL SET TO BE PLAYED BETWEEN INDIA AND NEWZEALAND AT LORD’S. 

INDIA BEATING ENGLAND TO QUALIFY FOR THE WTC 

India played a 4 match test series against the English side, which also included the day-night test match. It was played in Ahmedabad, Motera at the Narendra Modi stadium which is considered the biggest cricket stadium currently around the globe. India conquered the series by 3-1 and excelled at the field.

India's spin duo R.Ashwin and A.Patel breached the batting of the English team. Joe Root scored a splendid double ton in the 1 test match, but could not do much as the series proceeds. Axar and Ashwin trapped major English batsmen in front.

The 3rd test was ended on the second day of the test match, as both, teams were unable to put the game up with the bat, despite that India had won the test match. England team had accused the pitch and a lot of tantrums were thrown by them.BCCI and ICC faced a backlash from the English side regarding the pitch condition and there should be a standard condition for the pitches for all the ICC tournaments. Many have they are saying towards the advantage of the home condition.


Ishant Sharma played the 100th test match in his career. The tall bloke was very impressive throughout the years. Also, Ashwin getting 400th test career wickets during the series making it halfway through M.Murlidharan.


The Indian team had a lot of fun during the post-match interviews of the players.

THE WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL STAGE IS ALL SET

India beat England at home and bagged the series by 3-1, the youngsters had contributed a lot with the bat and ball as well. The young guns saved India many times by playing excellent knock whenever the situation demanded irrespective of the opposition. 

INDIA'S STORY ON THE GREEN PITCH

Indian batsmen had struggled long on the green pitch and in the cloudy condition.
Newzealand is underrated from the English condition is also not acknowledged much. As New Zealand condition is far more tedious to play than the English condition. New Zealand knows
the condition and can attain its goals well in this condition.INDIA needs to do their homework against the kiwis on this condition. 
 
Both teams have something common thing in them when it comes to the ICC tournaments.

THE DATES FOR BOTH OF  THE ICC TOURNAMENTS ARE CLASHING WITH EACH OTHER. WTC IS TO BE PLAYED FROM 18 - 22 JUNE 2021 AT LORDS.

ALSO, THE ASIA CUP IS TO HELD IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2021 WHICH IS HOSTED IN SRILANKA

There is a big question for India in the Asia cup as there can be three options that can be applied here -

  1. Asia cup can be postponed and should be moved ahead of the current date.  
  2. Asia cup can be played without India participating in the Asia cup.
  3. India A could play the Asia cup behalf of the current Indian side as this could give chance to a lot of lads and also debutants.


These are all the certainties and uncertainties of India playing the Asia cup.

    I feel the dates would be postponed as two ICC events are less likely to be clashed.

    YES most likely to happen, but will be great to see the India A team playing the Asia cup and Indian team playing the WTC final
